Effective date: October 23, 2026
Coin Merge Factory ("the game") is made by Mikamue Studios ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have.
The short version: the game has no ads, and no analytics or tracking of how you play. To keep your progress safe and let you continue on a new device, the game saves your progress online under an anonymous player ID (or your Google Play Games sign-in, if you choose to use it). We don't ask for your name, email, contacts, location or photos, and we never sell your information.
1. Information stored on your device
The game keeps a copy of the following on your device, so it can run offline:
- Game progress: coins, money, upgrades, collection, gems, boosts, and similar game data.
- Settings: sound, volume, vibration, display and similar preferences. (Settings stay on your device; they aren't uploaded.)
- Purchase records: a record of in-game purchases (such as an order reference), so purchased items are delivered correctly.
2. Your player ID and cloud save
So your progress isn't lost if you change or reset your device, the game saves it online (unless you turn cloud backup off, see section 10).
- Player ID. The first time you play, the game creates an anonymous player ID for your device. It isn't linked to your name or email, and on its own it can't be moved to another device.
- Google Play Games sign-in (optional). You can sign in with Google Play Games, which links your progress to your Google Play Games account so you can restore it on another device. We receive your Google Play Games player ID, not your email address or password. Google's privacy policy applies to your Google account: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- What's saved online: your game progress and purchase records (the same game data listed in section 1, except settings), together with your player ID and the times it was saved.
- Why: to back up your progress, restore it on a new device, keep it in sync, and protect purchased items.
- Where: cloud saves are stored by our service provider, Unity Technologies (Unity Gaming Services), on servers that may be located outside your country, including in the United States. Unity processes this data on our behalf. Unity's privacy policy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
3. In-app purchases
Purchases (such as gem packs or the VIP Pass) are processed by Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. Google Play shares with the game only what's needed to deliver your purchase, such as which item was bought and a purchase reference (token / order ID).
To make sure purchases are genuine and delivered exactly once, the game may send that purchase reference, with your player ID, to our servers (run by Unity Gaming Services) to check it with Google Play. We keep a record of the purchase with your cloud save.
The game uses Unity In-App Purchasing (by Unity Technologies) to talk to Google Play. Unity may receive details of each purchase (such as the item, price, currency and transaction reference) together with technical information such as an installation identifier, to process and verify purchases and to give us purchase reports. Unity handles this on our behalf: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy. Google's privacy policy covers the payment itself: https://policies.google.com/privacy
4. Time check (protecting timers and offline earnings)
The game earns money while you're away and has timed items (boosts, the free gift, the VIP Pass). To measure time in a way that changing the device clock can't fool, the game asks a server for the current time. This is a simple web request to our game servers (Unity Gaming Services) and/or a public time source such as Cloudflare (cloudflare.com) or Google (google.com).
5. Notifications
The game can send you optional reminders, such as when your factory's offline storage is full, a boost has ended, or your free gift is ready. These notifications are scheduled on your device by the game itself: no information is sent to us or anyone else to deliver them. The game asks for your permission before sending any, and you can turn them off at any time in the game's settings or your device's settings.
6. Technical information and security
Like any app that connects to the internet, the game's requests reveal your device's IP address and basic technical details (such as the app version and device type) to the servers it contacts (Unity, Google, Cloudflare). These providers may keep short-term logs of these requests for security and to run their services. We don't use this information to identify you, track you, or show you ads. The game uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections for everything it sends online.
7. What we don't do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics or tracking of how you play.
- We don't ask for your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, camera or microphone.
- We don't sell, rent or share your personal information for marketing.
8. Legal basis (EU / UK players)
We process your player ID, cloud save and purchase records because they're needed to provide the game you asked for (performance of a contract), and to keep purchases secure and prevent cheating (our legitimate interests).
9. How long we keep it
- Your cloud save and purchase records are kept until you delete them (section 10), or until we stop offering the game's online features.
- If you ask us to delete your data, we delete your cloud save and player ID within 30 days, except purchase records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.
10. Your choices and rights
- Turn cloud backup off. You can turn cloud backup off (and back on) at any time in the game's Settings → Cloud backup. While it's off, the game doesn't sign in or save your progress online; your progress is stored only on your device.
- Delete your data. You can delete your online data at any time from the game's Settings → Delete cloud data (this also turns cloud backup off), or by emailing us (section 13) with your player ID (shown in Settings).
- Delete local data. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data removes everything stored on your device.
- Access, correction and other rights. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California), you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to complain to a data protection authority. Contact us and we'll help.
11. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
If the game changes in a way that affects your privacy, we'll update this policy and the effective date above. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the game or its store listing.
